Hybrid Event: Syncing Your Virtual and Physical Experiences

Advances in technology enable us to experience virtual events in the same fashion as physical ones. With just a click away, users can navigate and view in 360, communicate or network with people around the world, attend conferences or listen to speeches, and most importantly keep social distancing in check.
On 22nd July 2020, Singapore Tourism Board announced to trial hybrid format at 2 business events, and if successful, hybrid event could pave way for more such events.
With that said, it is not a matter of if virtual event will be a new norm but instead when it will be. Given environmental impact from physical events, tech advancements in virtual events and, of course, the COVID new norm, barriers in syncing our physical experiences with that in virtual environment would no challenge event planners.
